30 Best summer cocktails 2020
In this project for ARPEGGIO’s summer edition, I created the "30 Best Summer Cocktails 2020" spread using Illustrator for the layout assembly and Photoshop for color harmony. The design features a young, clean, and relaxing aesthetic, with a minimalist approach that elegantly highlights each cocktail. To manage the integration of numerous recipes into a single spread, I utilized a modular grid layout, achieving a sleek and visually engaging result.
Kidoons
In this project for the "Kiddons" magazine spread or ad, I designed a playful and childish layout featuring a whimsical ribbon element that runs throughout the spread. The bright and clashing color palette enhances the energetic and fun vibe of the design. One challenge encountered was with the middle page, which included a cut-out that didn’t turn out as intended, creating an awkward look. This experience highlighted the importance of careful gutter design and balance in multi-page layouts.
Twist & Thread: Innovative Crochet for Modern Artisans
For my final project, I created a comprehensive magazine centered on the art and community of crochet. Utilizing Adobe InDesign, I designed the magazine’s layout, ensuring a visually appealing and cohesive presentation. The magazine features a curated selection of real articles sourced from the web, offering readers insights into various crochet techniques, patterns, and inspirations. Each article is paired with a QR code that directs to the original source, providing easy access to additional content. While I do not own the images or text used, sources are available upon request. This project highlights my proficiency in InDesign and my ability to create engaging, well-organized publications.
